Throwback to Childhood

Dr. Seuss's birthday is tomorrow! People all over the world will be celebrating Dr. Seuss's superior wit, rhyme and adventures. Visit http://www.seussville.com/ to enter the world of Dr. Seuss!

Read Across America day coincides with Dr. Seuss's birthday! What better way to celebrate this day than pick up your favorite Seuss book and read it or try one you haven't read. Dr. Seuss wrote 46 different children's books from Cat in the Hat and Green Eggs and Ham to Oh the Places You'll Go which is one of my personal favorites of Dr. Seuss's books. I plan on reading Gerald McBoing Boing ~ this is one of the books I have not yet read by Dr. Seuss.
What is your favorite Dr. Seuss book?

As promised, I read a Dr. Seuss book today. One that I have not read before, "Gerald Mcboing Boing." Interesting this story was created for a cartoon. The cartoon was first of its kind in 1950. The animated cartoon won an Academy Award in 1951. This book is based on the animated cartoon that Dr. Seuss created for United Productions of America (UPA).
