I'm delighted and honored that you have included my "Emperors of the Ice" in this year's Battle of the Books - especially with such a list of famous, talented other authors!

By the way, although "Emperors" is about Antarctica, this comes to you from hot, steamy Hoi An, on the central coast of Vietnam, where I am in the fourth month of a five-month trip with my family through Southeast Asia.

Thanks again, happy reading, and have a fabulous battle!

Thank you for your comment. "Emperors of the Ice" was an easy pick for us this year and is one that we are confident our teens will really enjoy.
Keep up the great work!
